Dinner

Dinner at Michelles on Wednesday. Hmmmm, pizza :-D. She’s doing well, and Charlotte got more than a little tipsy on a bottle of wine that evening 🙂
Went down to Bills yesterday evening to try and get his Windows XP machine online. It still claimed it had no dialtone (yes, people still use dialup…) The line was checked all the way up to the modem, and came up working with every phone we tried. However, when the RJ11 was put into either of the two modems, they both registered no dialtone. After installing Linux, we got the same result. Suffice to say I now have the modems home with me for testing.
Also went to First Aid training today for most of the day. Was interesting, funny, and very worthwhile. I hope I don’t have to use the knowledge gained today, but I guess I’m better for it. I’ve seen many an accident, but as it’s usually a motorsport event there are medics already on the scene.
