It’s been a busy fortnight or so. The Land Rover is now legal and can be taken onto the roads again. We’ve also been to JD and James’ for dinner twice, both of which were very nice meals. Charlotte and I have been househunting, and we’ve put in an offer on a flat in Yoker. According to the lawyer, it’s been accepted and now we just need the paperwork. The mortgage broker is also standing by ready to put our chosen mortgage into gear. We’re _hoping_ that we can get in before Christmas…
The reasoning behind the pre-christmas entry date is that Charlotte starts her new job on the 9th of January, so we’d like to get all our stuffed moved over the Christmas period, as she starts work at 7am in Motherwell from then on. To add to matters, she has to get a car for the job as well, so we’re going to be extra busy this month 🙂
