I’ve just uploaded my package of k3ddesktop to my archive.
Just put the following into your /etc/apt/sources.list file, and then run apt-get update; apt-get install k3ddesktop
deb http://lodge.glasgownet.com/~bagpuss/Ubuntu/ ./
