Getting comfy

The new flat is coming along nicely. Went along to Ikea yesterday and bought 3 bookshelves for all our books, and a bedside cabinet. Got two of the shelves built last night, and they look pretty good in the living room. Charlotte and my folks are working on the rest today whilst I’m at work, so it’ll be interesting when I go home later on :-)
Charlotte had a job interview today as well, she says it went quite well, so here’s hoping that she gets it :-)

fantastic

Santa Pod was absolutely unbelievable. I’m at a loss for words to describe what it was like. The sheer power and noise from the cars. 0 to 300mph in less than 6 seconds. Absolutely insane. I also found out why it is generally a _bad_ idea to stand behind a jet car as it takes off :-) The photos will be up as soon as I get them off the camera.
It was good to see Dave Irvine again, not seen him in a while. He has such a lovely house and was an excellent hotelier :-)

woohoo!

Busy busy week or so. Charlotte arrived on Tuesday and we moved into the flat for the first night :-) It is lovely!
Can’t quite recall what I’ve been up to in the past week, but I know I was up at Knockhill with Charlotte on Sunday, and Ellen came round for some drinks and a chat on Monday evening. Tuesday evening involved staying in work until 2345 in order to get everything working nicely for a special visit today :-)
Been to Ikea today to get some stuff for the flat, and heading down to Birmingham on Friday evening to visit David Irvine and head to Santa Pod Raceway. Heading to Darlington next weekend to do some timekeeping at Croft. Yay!
